As part of our mission to “Assisting BIPOC Small Farmers, Ranchers, and Landowners in being successful!”; we visited the Texas Capital where we not only received a resolution sponsored by House Representative Christian Manuel @Christian4Texas recognizing the work TASFR does but also visited with Senator Borris L.. Miles @BorrisLMiles to discuss specific issues being faced by the assemblage we support and how we may further assist them as producers.
It was a pleasure to meet with the Texas AgriForestry and discuss their legislative agenda for more resources for small minority farmers and advocating for more farm-to-table programs to combat food deserts. #txlege #hounews #SD13 pic.twitter.com/5XCNT4D8hD

On Tuesday, I had the honor of recognizing the Texas Agriforest Small Farmers and Ranchers (TASFR). I would like to thank them for their contributions to the agricultural industry, throughout East Texas. #blackfarmersmatter #txlege #HD22 pic.twitter.com/DNUfjWYluT
